IN TRANSLATION - AM EYEWEAR
“I looked at this year’s collection in a similar manner to a contemporary restaurant found in many of the world’s top cities, where classic dishes are infused in an east meets west way, to create something ultra-modern while still holding on to the past.”
Simon Ponnusamy - AM Eyewear
In Translation merges timezones, influences and eras to create brand new eyewear experiences. With seven new frame styles, the range draws reference to past, present and future Japan through its colour-blends, patterns and silhouettes.
AM’s material infusions are sourced across Europe and the far East. The sun line has been crafted in Italy, with the optical line taking shape in Korea to draw on their exceptional skill with stainless steel. Within the handcrafted collection you’ll find highlights of sustainably-sourced buffalo-horn, Japanese titanium, Italian leather and acetate. Each carries our distinctive handwriting that makes AM Eyewear frames instantly recognizable throughout the world.
This year marks the fourth anniversary of AM’s exclusive partnership with Zeiss Lenses, upholding our commitment to the highest optical care, craft and quality. To celebrate, AM EYEWEAR X ZEISS brings you Carmen, a unique collaborative frame with four sets of interchangeable, elegant and protective lenses.
